L is for Lunch

I have been trying to get Simon to take a regular afternoon nap for months. He gets very tired in the afternoon, rubbing his eyes and cranky. If we were in the car he would sleep, and he would often fall asleep while eating a bottle, but he would never sleep in the crib. Finally I figured out the key to the afternoon nap: LUNCH. Call it a siesta, once I started feeding him solid food for lunch in addition to breakfast and dinner, he went down for a nap like a charm. Let's hear it for lunch!

He started practicing the "l" sound around the same time. Coincidence?

  1. Wow that's amazing, he's going to be one quick learner.
