It's been a while since I've posted, we've been pretty busy with the holidays. We had a lovely white Christmas here with all 4 grandparents, then we took Simon on his first plane ride to go to Florida to visit Uncle Pete, Aunt Beth, cousin Sawyer, and second cousins Lillian, Tony, Ramzy and Lukas for New Year's. We all enjoyed a break from the cold weather, and a great visit with family.
Simon is scooting around backwards and doing a lot of climbing and tumbling, not quite crawling yet, but definitely dangerous. He also loves to stand while holding onto things, and is babbling a lot more. He's more and more fun all the time.
That picture of Sy and Michael on the beach is amazing! So cute.
ReplyDeleteHello, I found your blog from the cleft palate group on baby center. Thank you so much for doing this!! Our baby will be born in July with a bilateral cleft lip (palate?) and it is so reassuring to read about your experiences and see how happy Simon is. He is a BEAUTIFUL, radiant baby and I can imagine that has a lot to do with you both as parents. I want to share this blog with my husband too. That video of simon laughing a few days after his surgery with his daddy made me get teary eyed. Thank you!
